The new VSM Ceramic Plus XK series XK785Y has been designed to perform in the toughest grinding operations.

Due to its unique design, The Ceramic Plus XK785Y is ideal for grinding of unalloyed steels.

Fast and consistent cutting rate.

Due to the improved self-sharpening effect and the permanent exposure of fresh and sharp cutting adges, the enhanced metal removal rate of XK785Y stays at constant high level. the higher stock removal rate lead consequently to shorter cycle times and improved process.

Cooler grinding and longer life.

The improved self-sharpening effect of the Ceramic Plus grain enables free cutting resulting in less friction and thus a cooler grinding operation with a positive impact on the work piece (avoid heat tinting, deformations, cracks, etc) as well as on the abrasive itself (no glazing, reduced loading and no dulling).

Excellent cost-perfomance ration.

The XK785Y provides excellent cost-performance ratio. The optimised microcrystallines structure of the Ceramic Plus grains in combination with the very sturdy polyester backing result in maximum stock removal and high wear resistance when grinding non alloyed steels at high contact presures.
